Uluwatu, South Bali

Pura Luhur Uluwatu sits dramatically on a sheer cliff above the Indian Ocean, one of Bali's six key spiritual pillars. Beyond the temple itself, the surrounding clifftop paths offer some of Bali's best ocean views, and the daily sunset Kecak fire dance performance in the amphitheater draws large crowds. The area is also home to some of Bali's most famous surf breaks.
